Activities

The school offers a wide range of extra curricular activities both during and after school. The activities cover sport, art, drama and dance.

We review the clubs regularly so that the needs of our current pupils are met.

Home Learning

Throughout their time at Courtney Primary School pupils will be encouraged to spend some time at home following up work or completing tasks set by the teacher. Most of the time pupils will be able to complete the work on their own, but there will be times when they will need your help. The times and content of this work will vary from class to class. The school has a Home Learning Policy which can be viewed on request.

Parents are encouraged to read school ‘topic sheets’ for ideas about how to support their child’s learning, as well as using the links on the school website. This ‘topic’ sheet is sent home once a term and is available on our school website.
