Courtney Parents Teachers Association (PTA)

The PTA exists to promote good relationships between home and school.  It is made up of all parents, staff and governors of the school.  It has also, through a variety of fund raising events, provided an impressive range of books, equipment and improvements for the school.   Recently, the PTA has organised barbecues, family discos and a Christmas and Summer Fair. 

The PTA hold regular meetings in school and if you are interested in attending or becoming a committee member please contact the Chairperson or Mrs. Matthews, Family Link Leader and member of the PTA,  at school.

The PTA needs the support of parents to ensure it is able to continue to enrich the lives of your children. You can play a part in three ways:

1. Become a committee member
2. Support and attend PTA events
3. Volunteer to help at an event

Many hands do make light work!

Contributions to the School

In 2010-2011 the school has received a nunber of donations from the PTA. These include:-

• December 2010 PTA part subsidised Christmas Presents from Father Christmas at the Christmas parties

• July 2011 the PTA gave £100 towards the cost of the Year 6 prom.
